Time windows denote split nights, with time gaps as guides for how long instrument changes nominally can take. Nights split in half have handoff gaps centered on the midpoint between astronomical twilights. Note: BoN = "Beginning of the Night" and EoN = "End of the Night." Many nights have handoffs dictated by transit timings, windows for other observations that modestly interrupt a night that is then handed back to the original observer, or have observations of specific targets for the end of the night. Please consult with the astronomer(s) assigned for the other portion(s) of your nights, the telescope operators, support astronomers, and instrument specialists to finalize the timing of handoffs.
